From the relief of constipation to purging the body of harmful toxins, there are many reasons to use a cleanse product. This particular product is a Cleanse Detox System that promises to detoxify, replenish and revitalize your body, all while providing essential nutrients and energizing you.

How Does It Work?

For the most part, Bodylogix uses natural ingredients that are said to aid in the process of waste elimination. One of these ingredients is Bio-perine which is an extract taken from the fruits of the Piper nigrum L, or commonly referred to as black pepper, and Piper longum L, or the long pepper. In their native home of India, these peppers are thought to have stimulating effects on the bowel.

Another natural ingredient they use is Lactospore; which is a probiotic that is basically made up of fermented milk. It was formulated after some curious effects were noticed from Balkan buttermilk. Lactospore is believed to add to your GI tract beneficial bacteria that might be missing from your daily diet.

One plant-derived ingredient packs a little more punch however. The ingredient Senna is often categorized as a stimulant laxative, meaning that it stimulates the muscles of your colon and large intestine, while doing nothing for the flexibility and mobility for the stool.

This stimulation is fine for anyone that has a perfect bill of intestinal health and has never had an irregular bowel movement. For everyone else though, this can mean a worsening of constipation, discomfort and abdominal pains.

Is It Safe?

Bodylogix does not list any extremely severe side-effects, but they do give a strong warning that their doses for the 7 day cleanse must not be taken in any increments that the doses must overlap. And since you must take the capsules with food, you better expect to be on a strict timetable for when you can eat during those seven days.
