Cinch Diet

It’s inevitable. Most diets are short term, spanning over 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, or sometimes 90 days. In this case, the Cinch Diet is a 30 day diet. The idea behind the Cinch Diet is that you will lose weight fast, slimming down for one big event or just to fit into your skinny jeans again, all without any real sacrifices on your part.

Obviously, it would be nice if the Cinch Diet could teach you something new, helping you to make a lifestyle change. But who knows. The Cinch Diet seems effortless, promising no serious lifestyle changes required. This might mean that the Cinch Diet helps you to makes small changes over time for long term weight loss. But it could also mean that the Cinch Diet doesn’t work at all. Obviously, whatever you’re doing now isn’t working out. You have to do something different. So how does the Cinch Diet do all of this?

The Foods You Don’t Have to Give Up

If you eat pizza and pasta all the time, you’re not going to lose weight. You may think it’s healthy. But it won’t work out. But according to the Cinch Diet, you can keep eating chocolate 50 – 100 calories of dark chocolate per day), peanut butter, and guacamole! In case you haven’t heard, these foods have certain positive health benefits. But chances are these aren’t the “favorite foods” that first came to mind.

What You Do Give Up

Here’s where the changes come in. First and foremost, NO MORE monstrous portion sizes! The Cinch Diet makes up for this with the fact that you get 4 meals a day instead of 3, and you get to eat every 3-5 hours. But you will have to keep an eye on how much you eat each time.

You might worry at first, because you might actually end up eating more throughout the day. But smaller and more frequent portions keep your metabolism going, helping you to lose more weight. And unfortunately, you give up the element of choice.

The Cinch Diet provides you with 5 breakfast, 5 lunch, 5 dinner, and 5 snack recipes, which you can mix and match. It certainly makes grocery shopping easier. But it doesn’t teach you anything about healthy dieting, and the same old meals can get boring for even the most dedicated of dieters. Don’t even think about eating out, unless the restaurant you’re going to has one of your 5 dinner or 5 lunch recipes on the menu. Wasn’t the Cinch Diet supposed to be easy and stress free?

The Skinny

The Cinch Diet allows you to eat a little bit of dark chocolate every day, which is actually a growing trend. And maybe, it even makes healthy foods sound yummy (like avocado). But the Cinch Diet missed a few key elements that are absolutely necessary to successful long term weight loss. And without a more sustainable approach, the Cinch Diet remains just another fad diet.

Cinch Diet Customer Reviews

  1. Comment

I love this diet and have gone down a pant size this week. The diet is perfect for someone like me who loves to cook and is used to eating all natural organic foods. If you are used to fast food or frozen dinners this diet may be a real struggle.
But the food is super nutritious, easy to modify and very tasty. Cynthia Sass knows what she is talking about/teaching.
