“Doctor recommended and clinically proven.” It’s sad. But by reviewing as many products as I have, I’ve learned to watch out for statements like this associated with products like Citrexa Body System. These days, doctors are like extremely expensive whores who will sell their “recommendations” and ringing “endorsements” to anyone willing to pay the right price. Unless it’s a prescription, most physicians haven’t done the research to actually understand what it is and what it means. And unless I missed something pretty big, Citrexa Body System isn’t a prescription.

Once you get down to the baseline elements, the rumors vary from site to site. But Citrexa Body System is essentially supposed to be a clinically proven fat burner, appetite suppressant, an a powerful way to control the obesity reducing hormone known as leptin. Yes, ads call it a “revolutionary weight loss breakthrough.” But let’s just put that aside and look at the ingredients for a moment.

What are the Ingredients?

There is only one ingredient mentioned at all, which has supposedly been “clinically proven to produce dramatic weight loss results.” The site mentions an 8 week double blind clinical trial conducted at the University of Connecticut Human Performance Laboratory. But conveniently enough, makers forgot to list the actual ingredient used!

So I did a search, and I found the University of Connecticut Human Performance Laboratory. It does exist (shocker). The only problem is that just as you might expect, the study itself doesn’t exist. The best way you would think to find this study would be to search for leptin on the University of Connecticut website, since Citrexa Body System is so obsessed with it. It pulls up studies on how leptin affects the body and how leptin contributes to obesity. But there are no studies on anything that might control leptin. In other words, there are no studies that would back up anything Citrexa Body System is saying. But that doesn’t mean the right product doesn’t exist. Citrexa Body System just isn’t it.

Products That Can Control Leptin

Don’t give up just yet. Citrexa Body System didn’t actually pull this concept out of thin air. There is one ingredient that is clinically proven to help you to control leptin. And it just so happens to burn fat, suppress appetite, and increase energy along the way. African mango, also known as Irvingia Gabonensis, is an up and coming ingredient found exclusively in the deserts of West Africa, and it only requires 150mg doses.

A growing number of supplements are using African Mango, which is also stimulant free, and it’s easy to find a good product using it. Every product I’ve seen so far uses the clinically proven 150mg. But then who wouldn’t with all of the competition. The problem is that Citrexa Body System is not even in the runnings.
