Fucothin

Fucothin is apparently the “#1 selling product in the natural products industry” or at least their manufacturers say that they are. They claim that Fucothin has been studied at this time and will show clinically proven results that you could not achieve with anything else. They say it will boost metabolism and burn fat without stimulants and therefore without side effects.
The Good
Fucothin does use a formula free of stimulants, and there have been some studies on their main ingredient fucoxanthin in Japan. It can theoretically promote a thermogenic effect in the body and Fucothin can be found in outlets and stores across the country.
The Bad
Unfortunately, those tests were limited and all conducted on rats. The same team of researchers in the same lab conducted all the studies, and so there is a question of bias to say the least. They don’t have considerable amounts of said ingredients, and we have to doubt it would work in humans. In addition, this product is sold by a company known as Garden of Life Inc. It is headed by Jordan S Rubin, and he and the Garden Of Life Inc company have been sued multiple times by the FTC for unsubstantiated claims.
The Skinny
We are with the FTC on this one. We would recommend extreme caution against any product or company affiliated in the least with Mr. Rubin. He has a long history of fraud, and his products continue to be fraudulent at best. Fucothin is no exception. We would not recommend this product or any other even remotely like it.
