HCG Drop
HCG Drop is non-injection, non-prescription HCG alternative meant to give you all of the results of other HCG treatments in the form of just a few drops a day. Combined with the right diet and exercise regimen, their product is supposed to let you lose 30 pounds in 30 days. Numbers like that are hard to ignore. But are they accurate? We figured it was time to really put this HCG fad to the test, so we reviewed HCG Drop for ourselves.
The Good
Its homeopathic methods ensure that you’ll probably be safe taking it and the risk of side effects are quite low.
The Bad
The validity of HCG is in serious question. In fact, recent studies have shown that this hormone can actually SLOW weight loss rather than promote it. Another test showed that people using HCG lost less weight while eating the same amount of calories as those who were not using the hormone. In light of these studies, HCG Drop has no leg to stand on telling you that you can lose 30 pounds in 30 days or some other extreme amount.
The Skinny
If you want to lose weight, the more reasonable varieties of the HCG diet are not all bad. There are some plans that allow for a 1200 calories per day, eating food that is nutrient dense and putting you on an exercise regimen. But some HCG are starving themselves on 500 calories per day. Anyone could lose weight doing that, but it’s not healthy and you’re likely to gain it all back, and more. So if you really want to lose weight, the best thing diet and exercise while also using a good diet pill with legitimate approaches. You’ll regret trying HCG.
