Hoodia 9000
We’ve always wondered, can you really depend on major media giants and news stations? Obviously, Hoodia 9000 is relying on your belief in these figures to sell a product purely based on hoodia. But it’s not unheard of for Oprah to be wrong.
Hoodia 9000 of course promises to “kill hunger” and suppress appetite, further eliminating cravings and binges and controlling late night eating without any stimulants. All of this is pretty typical of a hoodia product. But you may be surprised considering our skepticism, what hoodia has to offer.
The Clinical Studies
Hoodia 9000 has a surprising number of clinical studies that do actually back it up. It uses hoodia and hoodia alone. But while there are some stipulations and doubters, there are quite a few animal studies that seem to show that hoodia has a positive effect.
The appetite suppressing effects were first noticed by a Dutch anthropologist studying the San Bushmen of the Kalahari desert in 1937, and obviously before and since, the San Bushmen have continued to use hoodia to suppress appetite on long hunting trips, which seems to speak for itself.
The Dissenters
Obviously, our skepticism didn’t come out of thin air. There are some who have serious doubts about hoodia. Most question the fact that there are no positive human clinical trials so far. Some say that the traditional use of hoodia in African cultures is nothing more than a fluke in a traditionally poverty stricken area of the world. So far from what we have seen, there are no studies that show hoodia to be a threat, a dangerous substance, or a definitively useless product.
In other words, a lot of this is just speculation.
The Skinny
Hoodia 9000 uses ingredients and a blend that can allow you to potentially eat less. We’ve seen studies that go both ways. As such, we’re on the fence about this one. Hoodia 9000 relies entirely on that one ingredient. If it doesn’t work, then Hoodia 9000 doesn’t work, and if it does, logically Hoodia 9000 does.
