Taking a roundabout approach to weight loss, Metabolite is not your typical weight loss supplement. It is designed specifically to target the thyroid, which by proxy supposedly increases natural metabolism to help you to lose weight. According to literature we’ve read, there are some diet pills like Metabolite willing to suggest that there’s a little something wrong with just about everybody’s thyroid, ultimately causing a slow metabolism and weight gain. It’s unrealistic to think that a country full of various cultures and races might have a higher rate of a certain disease than other countries with one or more of the same racial categories, but it doesn’t stop us from trying with products like Metabolite. We’re just hoping that Metabolite has unexpected, but more effective weight loss ingredients.
The Ingredients in Metabolite
Bladderwrack – Rich in iodine, bladderwrack is known for its ability to enhance thyroid function for basically healthy people with no known thyroid problems. However, it does not necessarily promote significant weight loss results.
Red wheat – Wheat in general has become known for its healthy benefits, and it seems to be rich in plenty of vitamins, minerals, and fibers. There are no particular benefits associated with red wheat that are not associated with any other type of wheat.
Hawaiian Spirulina – According to clinical studies conducted by the US National Institutes of Health, Spirulina does not seem to promote any known weight loss results.
Sage – Sage is known for its digestive benefits, and it can fight certain infections.
Buckthorn – Buckthorn is typically used as a laxative or purgative. It can also work as a cholagogus and cholertic.
Papaya – Rich in healthy vitamins and antioxidants, papaya has been used to protect against heart disease, promote better digestive health, support anti-inflammatory effects, and improve immune support.
Pineapple – Pineapple can reduce the risk of hypertension while cutting down your cravings for sweets because of its natural sweetness, which can help you to avoid other types of sugar and therefore lose weight.
Artichoke – Artichokes can aid in cholesterol reduction as well as digestive health, diabetes, and healthy liver function.
The Skinny
Metabolite uses a blend of natural ingredients that have been clinically proven to improve health, and some promote weight loss in indirect ways. For example, pineapple is made to reduce your natural cravings for calories associated with carbs and sugars. However, if you are expecting a significant way to increase metabolism or promote direct fat burning, this is not that plausible.
