Mitotropin
Mitotropin claims so be an “extreme” fat burner, one that can increase your metabolism to boost fat burning and a number of other technically things such as promising to increase mitochondrial CPT, amplify lipolysis, kill free radicals, etc.
They call it the “30 day pre-contest physique repartitioning compound” which leads us to believe that this particular product is geared toward the competitive body builder or professional athlete over the everyday dieter.
It is unclear whether Mitotropin is legitimately engineered for serious athletes or if its intimidating strength is meant to be a selling point.
The major ingredients of Mitotropin include green tea, capsicum, caffeine anhydrous, green coffee bean, evodiamines, and synephrine in proprietary blends that equal 1275mg, 1774mg and 158mg respectively.
The Good
Mitotropin did at least some of its research and has included established ingredients into their blends and the product doesn’t appear to be heavy on filler (i.e. pointless) ingredients.
The Bad
Unfortunately none of these ingredients are implemented in the correct amounts as is evident by the ridiculously small milligrams of each proprietary blend. For those of you unfamiliar with the strategy behind a proprietary blend let us illustrate their purpose.
A proprietary blend is a way for a manufacturer to leave out the amount information in order to legally claim certain ingredients without having to use them in the right portions. This helps to cut production costs for the company but it does absolutely nothing to help you in your weight loss aims.
The Skinny
This product will not aid you in any form of weight loss. It is a weak compound for the casual dieter and the professional athlete alike. Mitotropin seems to have been engineered for the sole purpose of seeing how little a weight loss supplement can offer and still be sold for a profit. We do not recommend Mitotropin under any circumstances.
