NV Beauty Pill

NV is a product manufactured for the female dieter and advertised by Carmen Electra. They claim it will improve your body, sexuality, and promote weight loss while improving hair, skin, and nails.

They call it beauty enhancing and also claim that the ingredients are all clinically tested and have powerful antioxidant properties among other things. So the question is, is this Carmen Electra backed product all that great, or is it just a celebrity disaster waiting to happen?

The Good

They do have green tea and caffeine anhydrous which can promote greater weight loss by producing a caffeine related thermogenic effect in the body. They also have horse tail which can promote stronger hair, skin, and nails. They have various ingredients to say the least, also including collagen.

The Bad

They don’t have many good ingredients, and quite frankly the few they do have will cause side effects related to caffeine. Their ingredients really aren’t female specific, and the ingredient they really focus on, hoodia gordonii, can’t even be found outside of South Africa and is proven to not work. In other words, most of these ingredients won’t even work for men. And they don’t have the right amounts of anything for clinically proven results. All of these are of course not good things to say the least.

The Skinny

We would not recommend using NV. It doesn’t have the right ingredients, the right amounts, or otherwise what you are or should be looking for. It’s promoted by someone who has never been known for weight problems, and that is for a reason. Either way, we would recommend finding something else.
