Many weight loss aids will claim to be “clinically proven” but have no proof. Proactol’s active ingredient, opuntia ficus-indica, has been studied and shown to decrease fat intake, as they have said, up to 28%. This product also has the support of several doctors, which is a confidence booster as doctors to take a slight risk in endorsing products and generally won’t support a completely ineffective supplement.
The Bad
For those who are looking to lose weight without changing their diet will not gain real results with this weight loss tool. The fact is that for weight loss to be healthy and permanent you need to implement lifestyle revisions. A fat-blocker is a good option when a birthday party rolls around but it is not a fool-proof and consistent weight loss option. Furthermore, while the support of a doctor can add a modicum of credibility to a weight loss product it should be noted that these physician’s are more than likely paid for their opinions and therefore you can’t fall to hard over their statements.

Proactol does offer a money back guarantee but with many strings attached. You must to take Proactol for at least 120 days. Then you have to contact their customer support for “help and advice on how to get the maximum benefit from taking Proactol.” Then you can return the empty or unopened packages for a refund. If any of these steps are not followed, Proactol will not give you a refund. This product might offer some weight loss benefits but we aren’t overly confident in the permanence of this product. With such a high price tag we would expect more. We do not recommend Proactol at this time.
