QNT Chitosan

When you use any fat blocker, you take a risk. You take the risk that you might get a natural Alli that is capable of the same side effects while still limiting you to only 1-2 pounds a month. The idea is that you should combine it with a low fat diet, and you will lose more weight while still getting away with eating a little more fat.
According to the QNT Chitosan description, QNT Chitosan is made to block fat, period, end of story. We cross our fingers and hope that it won’t cause side effects anything like those of Alli, but we can’t be entirely sure until we look at QNT Chitosan and how it works.
What Is Chitosan?
Chitosan is obviously the main ingredient in QNT Chitosan, and currently it seems to be the only ingredient in QNT Chitosan. Chitosan has been controversial, but it has a potentially effective side to it.
Studies are a little questionable, but they show that chitosan does seem to block fat. Slimy diarrhea is common if you eat too much fat, but it’s not nearly as severe as you might experience with Alli. Just make sure that your diet is a little more balanced. So where’s the controversy?
On one hand, chitosan is less likely to cause side effects, and it seems to be pretty natural. In fact, we haven’t seen any threat of it interfering with vitamin absorption either. The problem for some is that the results are relatively small. One small study on QNT Chitosan showed that subjects lost about 3 pounds in 8 weeks. That’s just not fast enough for some, but it’s about the same as Alli or any fat blocking prescription. It really makes you wonder why we even bother with FDA approved options. Still, 3 pound is 3 pounds, and if you lose weight consistently, then it might be worth it.
Does QNT Chitosan Promote Long Term Results?
The only thing that we can really base our review on is one ingredient: chitosan. Chitosan has never actually been tested over an extended period of time, and the results were relatively low. Unfortunately, scientists in that one study did not keep track of subjects after using chitosan to see if they lost more after or for that matter if subjects regained the weight or kept it off.
What Do We Know About QNT Chitosan?
QNT Chitosan uses a blend of one ingredient that we know of. We do know that it blocks fat, but the measurable weight loss benefits are debatable. Subjects in Alli studies were put on strict low fat diets and lost practically nothing. The subjects in the chitosan study were given more choice (and more foul ups) and still ended up losing albeit, a small amount of weight without severe diarrhea or a lot of the problems associated with the FDA approved options.
It depends on who you’re comparing QNT Chitosan to, but at the very least, it seems to be decent enough.
