Quickfire

Quickfire promises you that is will aid you to “increase energy and boost metabolism while delivering key nutrients to support your weight loss efforts and fuel your training regimen.” Quickfire is a weight loss supplement that is produced by a very prominent supplement manufacturer known as ProLab. This product is only available from third party retailers. Quickfire uses chromium, biotin, green tea, rhodiola rosea, caffeine, l-tyrosine, and 5-HTP in its formula. These are considered stimulants.

The Good

Weight loss does contain a few well researched ingredients such as green tea and caffeine. Green tea and caffeine have both been proven to have immense thermogenic propensities when utilized in milligrams of 400 or more per ingredient. They have also proven to be very good in combination with one another to exact an even higher rate of fat burning in the body. Green tea and caffeine are widely implemented elements in the weight loss aid industry at this time.

The Bad

A majority of Quickfire’s ingredients are questionable at best. Chromium has had some success as a weight loss agent but it has enough detractors to keep us from being convinced of its powers. The rest of the ingredients listed have no known relevance in a weight loss formula and seem to be fillers. Furthermore, Quickfire only utilizes one of its proven ingredients, green tea, at 150mg which is painfully shy of the 400mg required to begin to see results.

Aside from just being generally ineffective, Quickfire also boasts a long list of adverse effects and warnings. Quickfire is not for those who suffer from a pre-existing medical condition (such as heart disease), those who have a family history of medical conditions (such as heart disease), caffeine sensitivities, high blood pressure, a history of psychological disorders, those using an MAO inhibitor or those with glaucoma. If you aren’t excluded due the issues listed above then you need to watch out for side effects like insomnia, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, vomiting and headaches.

The Skinny

This product might give you some energy but that is all it can offer and even that is not a given. This product has been developed using fillers and false promises. We can find something much more substantial that can bolster your energy and give you fat burning effects. We do not recommend Quickfire.
