Relacore PM
Relacore PM is a product that is meant to aid you in weight loss by assisting you in relaxing and reducing the amount of stress your body experiences. This is all based on the idea that excess stress can cause the body to go into a state of panic, a side effect of which is increased fat storage as a means of self preservation. Relacore PM claims to reduce stress, reduce mild anxiety, improve mood, and reduce stress related belly fat, but not belly fat that is specifically due to the hormone cortisol since the FTC has taken issue with the many producers he boasted of such claims. Along with basic vitamins, Relacore’s “weight loss formula” contains lemon balm, passion flower, magnolia, scutellaria, niacinimide, DHEA, panax ginseng, poria, jujube, perilla, and phosphatidylserine. Relacore PM is sold for $45.95 and only through third party retailers.
The Good
Relacore PM does have a wide variety of ingredients that have shown the propensity to cause the body to relax which is a major element of Relacore PM’s claims. If reducing stress can in fact facilitate some weight loss Relacore PM has a somewhat positive roster of ingredients in its formula.
The Bad
The inclusion of panax ginseng might obliterate the relaxation achieved by the other ingredients in this blend and none of the ingredients listed above have any evidence or support as weight loss agents. This product does not have the power to exact any weight loss results. This product should not be taken by those who have a pre-existing medical condition or a family history or medical conditions (such as heart disease), caffeine sensitivities, high blood pressure, a history of psychological disorders, are using an MAO Inhibitor or glaucoma. Further adverse effects may include insomnia, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, vomiting and headache.
The Skinny
Relacore PM might put you to sleep but that is about all it can offer and even that isn’t a definite. This product has been called a “placebo” and that is probably as apt a description as can be offered. This product will help you lose weight the same way a sugar pill can cure cancer. We do not recommend Relacore PM.
