Relacore
Relacore is a weight loss aid that has been developed on the theory that the stress hormone cortisol is what causes the human body to store fat in the problem areas that most people complain of, specifically the stomach, buttocks and thighs. Since this “core” fat storage is also the most dangerous Relacore seems like an ideal solution to a perplexing problem facing us at this time. Relacore’s main active ingredient is listed as magnolia bark and it is said that this ingredient can target the stubborn belly fat that plagues you.
The Good
Relacore has shown some results in the reduction of cortisol in some people. This product may indeed have some ability to lower stress levels and calm you down in an anxious situation. Relacore also uses the ingredient DHEA which has proven to aid in decreasing cholesterol.
The Bad
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the past has called out the product Cortislim for falsely advertising that cortisol was the reason for belly fat and that this was a scientifically documented fact. There have been no conclusive studies to support the theory that cortisol is what causes us to retain fat in certain areas or that a decrease in our stress levels can equal a decrease in our waist size without exercise or diet changes. On top of such flimsy evidence we also have our concerns about the manufacturers of this product in general. They have had run-ins with the Federal Trade Commission before in regard to misleading advertisement tactics. Dishonesty is not a positive quality in a supplement producer.
The Skinny
Relacore is a product that is based on a half-baked hypothesis and is promoted through tricky wording and ersatz clinical trials. There is no reason that we can find to suggest that you even give this product a try. We do not recommend Relacore for your weight loss aid.
