It works similarly to an amphetamine, and it stimulates the central nervous system while increasing heart rate and blood pressure to naturally decrease the appetite with 105mg tablets.
The Good
It has been approved by the FDA, and amphetamine type substances have been proven to actually actively suppress the appetite. It is usually administered only with counseling, lifestyle changes, and under the care of a qualified physician.
The Bad
It can come with side effects such as allergic reactions, irregular heartbeat, very high blood pressure, hallucinations, abnormal behavior, confusion, restlessness, tremors, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia, dry mouth, unpleasant taste in your mouth, diarrhea, constipation, impotence, or change in sex drive. In addition, it can easily become habit forming. In addition, Bontril is only meant for short term use. Because it is an amphetamine, can be addicting, and has so many potentially dangerous and even deadly, it should not be used for more than a few weeks!
The Skinny
We would not recommend using Bontril. Bontril does not provide greater results, and it should not be taken lightly at all. If you have any medical condition at all, you definitely should not take this product, and the side effects can be extremely serious to say the very least. The weight loss is definitely not great enough to justify any side effects, let alone these.
