Product Details
This weight loss supplement, better known as sibutramine HCI monohydrate, was designed specifically for those who are at least 30 pounds over a healthy weight. This product gives users a feeling of fullness which is accomplished by this product targeting the “appetite control center” of the brain. This product should be taken while living a healthy lifestyle of exercising regularly and a healthy diet. Supposedly, you can drop three to four pounds in the first month. However, this product can only be prescribed by a doctor.
The Good
This product is FDA approved which is more rare among weight loss supplements. Further, creators of this drug are completely upfront about side effects of this product and give a full ingredient list. This is always a positive because that way you know exactly what you are getting.
The Bad
Meridia is only for those who are at least 30 pounds overweight. Another problem we found with this drug is that it is generally only effective if it is adopted with a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, don’t plan to take this pill and then all of a sudden lose weight magically. Yet another downside to this product is that it is not available to the general public. And honestly speaking, the reason why it is a prescription and has to be FDA approved is because while the results are fairly limited, the side effects are not. Meridia has been associated at times with some relatively severe side effects in some individuals.
The Skinny
We don’t recommend Meridia. Not only is it available through prescription only, but it comes with many side effects. It can work if you are 30 pounds overweight, but if you are looking for a diet pill that can help you lose the weight you just can’t seem to get rid of, there are plenty of other diet supplements out there that can help you. We recommend trying those before resorting to Meridia.
