Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone
Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone focuses on two things: workouts and fat burning for weight loss. And why shouldn’t it? Isn’t that what we want from a weight loss supplement of any kind? At the very least, it’s what we should want! Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone’s main focus is to put your body into the “red zone” if you will. But there are doubts as to what exactly that means.
The Formula in Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone
Beta alanine – Beta alanine acts as a natural amino acid, and it can feed the muscles.
Coenzyme Q10 – A natural antioxidant, this is good for the heart, and it’s the main focus of advertising. But it doesn’t actually promote weight loss.
Cayenne Pepper (Fruit) – Cayenne pepper can produce mild thermogenic fat burning effects.
Asian Ginseng Powder (Root) – Asian ginseng is one of the strongest ingredients in Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone, burning fat and promoting a greater sense of wellbeing.
White Willow Powder (Bark) – White willow powder has been used to reduce inflammation and reduce the side effects of caffeine. It’s complementary.
Red Tea Extract (Leaf & Stem) – Red tea is assumed to burn fat, because it’s a tea right? The only problem is that red tea doesn’t come from the same tea leaves as say green tea, and it doesn’t have caffeine to burn fat.
Kola Nut Powder (Seed) – Used mostly to suppress appetite, kola nut typically requires considerable amounts to have this effect.
Evodia Extract (Fruit) – Evodia acts as a stimulant free fat burner, and it can promote results with as little as 200mg. But a proprietary blend won’t use those amounts.
Ginger Powder (Root) – Ginger root typically works to calm an upset stomach. But it doesn’t promote weight loss
Black Pepper Extract (Fruit) – Enhancing the absorption of other nutrients, this is actually essential.
PowerGrape – Said to increase performance while also improving recovery, this has never been tested as a weight loss supplement
Caffeine anhydrous – Caffeine anhydrous is largely used to burn fat, and it seems to increase energy too. But you need at least 400mg to burn fat.
The Skinny
Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone focuses its advertising on getting your body into the fat burning “red zone.” And then it focuses on coenzyme Q10 and PowerGrape, 2 ingredients that are great and all. But while Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone does have powerful weight loss ingredients, these are not among them. It uses proprietary blends that cannot possibly account for the needed amounts, all in all adding up to Ultimate Nutrition Red Zone not being quite what it says.
