Xenical
Xenical is a prescription strength fat blocker. It is a supplement that you must discuss with your doctor before endeavoring upon. Xenical is also known as Orlistat which is the main ingredient found in another popular supplement known as Alli. This ingredient works to block a percentage of your fat intake from the day which is about 1/3 of the fat you would otherwise absorb.
The Good
Xenical has been through clinical studies, and it has twice the dosages of the ingredient as over the counter Alli at this time. All the studies we’ve seen were done on this dosage.
The Bad
The side effects of this product are beyond dreadful and we can’t help but speculate as to why this product has found a market at all. Xenical makes the side effects of harsh stimulants seem like a walk in the park by comparison! These side effects include vitamin A, D, E, and K deficiencies, flatulence, oily anal discharge, loose stools, diarrhea, more frequent bowel movements, hard to control bowel movements and the potential need for adult diapers. Yes, the potential need for adult diapers! And, if that list isn’t enough to discourage you, Xenical also entails that its consumers remain on a strict non-fat diet in order to reduce the occurrence of these adverse effects. This non-fat diet would be more than adequate to help you lose weight on its own and you wouldn’t need an extra pair of pants with you at all times! But interestly enough, with this kind of diet, you should lose 5-10% of your body weight in a month, not a year! So why is it taking longer with Alli?
The Skinny
Xenical does not actually give you what you are looking for. Xenical does not promote real weight loss. In fact, it would seem that Xenical even holds you back from losing more weight as you could with a healthy diet and exercise plan. Realistically speaking, there are quite a few side effects associated with it, and it can be dangerous to your liver they are saying as well your fat and otherwise. So we would recommend that you find something else.
